Dualism (Budapest/Hungary)

The performance “Dualizam” (Dualism) by art troupe Vulkåi from Budapest will be held on Friday at 22.30h (10:30 PM) at the Army playground in the Suburbium, to the right of Belgrade Gate. This unique stage play is part of the project “Initiate Change, Be the Change!” realized in partnership with the Association Scenatoria, as part of the program of this year’s Street Musicians Festival beneath Petrovaradin Fortress.

Vulkåi is a multi-media studio specialized in art and performance, consisting of Ágnes Györe and Danijel Šivinjski, who act in the piece “Dualizam”. This performance is an existential dilemma, in which present experience and past memory clash with each other. The main idea is to present tension between urban life and the soul which longs for peace, as well as the search for finding balance between the near-modern and far-traditional.
