Plastic Trees (Novi Sad/Serbia)

Plastic Trees

Indie pop, or alternative rock in its best edition yet, arrives to the Suburbium from just across the Danube, directly from Novi Sad’s boulevards, and is ready to moveforever into the hearts and minds of all visitors of the Street Musicians Festival. They are the Plastic Trees, and they are very young and endlessly talented, what can best be heard in the music they play.

The latest, or the youngest scene in the city provides a lot of interesting music, but only a few can really be compared to the Plastic Trees. Sense for music was to be expected, but a completely unexpected maturity in composition and arrangement, as well as confident performances of high-quality, interesting songs, are surprising main features of their debut EP “More Songs about Her”, released in late 2015. Their sound echoes with the breadth, calmness, and lyrical strength, in true spirit of rock’n’roll, Americana, and alternative culture in general. Plastic Trees are about to have their first encounter with the audience at the Street Musicians Festival – it will be a start of beautiful new friendship.
