Ti (Belgrade/Serbia)

An important name among Serbia’s underground, the psychedelic duo Ti, perfectly paints the picture of the urban spirit, intellect, and Belgrade’s long forgotten romance from a nicer and more productive time. Their dreamy melodies and hypnotic rhythms are the best calling card for the feverish dancing that will take place at the Suburbium.

Encouraged by the ascent of similar, globally successful coxless pairs, this unusual band was founded in 2012. Trajče and Ilija (whose initials stand behind the band’s name) use an electronic drum kit, guitar, and synthesizer to achieve their unique expression, shrouded by a thick layer of quality sound, rock rhythms, and a backdrop of pop lyrics about everyday life and existence, which in a slower beat becomes something altogether mesmerizing. Known for their collaboration with various other bands (Petrol, Čistilište…), the bearded duo courageously march on the path they chose for themselves, where they find all their comfort and creativity. The Street Musicians Festival is an ideal chance for everyone else, who desires so, to accompany them on that same path,and at least for that one hot night feel the same musical exhilaration…
